Tactile drawings – How to DIY a textile embossed image fast and easy

Hello! Today I want to show you another
method of obtaining a tactile drawing. It’s so easy I wanna start with a piece
of plain paper, but with the drawing you can download it from thats.wiki. And
then, with this piece of paper why do you think you’re gonna do? You need a contour,
you need a fine line to get the drawing outside of the paper, so the visually
impaired person can feel it, can sense the control of an object. So today we’re
going to use the magic t-shirt. Yeah! It’s a normal t-shirt. Yeah! But we’re gonna
use this. We’re gonna use the drawing copy technique on the window. Yes, you
heard it right! We’re gonna make a tactile drawing with a pen and a t-shirt. Let’s
see how! So, you go on the window and you push hard on the lines you see to the
t-shirt and the paper. You push hard on the paper and, the beauty is that, the
t-shirt won’t let you puncture the paper we just need to put some pressure on it,
just enough to highlight. We have to draw the line and when everything is
done, it’s over, you have drawn everything, you have a tactile
drawing. This is how it looks like; it’s a beautiful tactile drawing. It has a fine
line, is not very hard and it’s not very durable, but it’s almost free. This
tactile image came at the price of a piece of paper. It’s really really really
inexpensive and really practical! You can feel the contour
and then, with the mobile app, with THATS, THATS companion, you can read it. The app
will tell you what’s beneath your finger. So, that’s all for today! Thank you!
