I’m gonna take myself on a date – an
artist date. I’m Dennis Hodges and this is Creative Nibble. Julia Cameron in her
epic work, The Artist’s Way, suggests one of the best ways to get in touch with
your creativity is to set aside a two-hour block of time, each week, by
yourself, for an “artist date.” Now, in my case today, I’m in a museum. I’m going to take in some artwork, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be that. You can do other activities, just things to inspire you to think about your work a little
bit differently. So, think about that: To set aside some time each week, a 2-hour
block of time just for you, just for a date, just for your art. And that’s your Creative Nibble. Pause. Think. Create.
